I'm not sure I disagree with your BP analysis, Seems sound. On the Sherlock Holmes issue, I've never really committed to Sherlock or Elementary. A friend of mine didn't really like Sherlock and didn't recommend I get started on it. Did you stream the two series? If you did, which streaming platforms are they on?

Elementary is streaming on Hulu. There's a link to the page in the post. Sherlock is not streaming that I know of, given that it is from the BBC. You can buy episodes on Amazon, though. I watched it when it came out, though I never saw the fourth season as it came out years later. I thought the first season of the show was pretty good but got farther and farther afield as it went.

“Which isn’t going to change barring injury” 😂😂😂

I know you know how funny that is. 10 starters last year, 15 in ‘22, 13 in 21’, and even 10 in ‘20…even if the holiest of miracles could keep these five healthy, dollars to donuts they wouldn’t be this year’s depth.

Just a nit-pick. As you were. Otherwise, it all seems sound to me 😆👍

Oh absolutely there are going to be injuries. Just guess which ones is beyond my skill set!

Yesterday on Kmox, Mo straight up said they’re not looking for a starter. Said they have 5 guys w big contracts, and they’re gonna start. Benfred csn come down off that hill now

While it's almost tradition to point to the "Matt Carpenter is our third baseman" quote the day before the Arenado trade, it's been clear for a while the Cards aren't going to get any more starting pitching. Their contention is that once you have five guys under contract you can't shift them and free agents don't want to come here because there's no room. I'm not completely sold on that--some other teams seem to wind up with 6-7 starters under contract--but I understand the thinking.

Yeah, I’m not sure how many teams even have an all-free-agent rotation. Certainly complicates matters.

Buts it’s clearly being used as an excuse as well, to some extent
