Kevin wheeler might be the most under-utilized STL baseball mind, and I’d love to hear him on with you from time to time. He really knows his stuff, AND he played the game at a pretty high level.
I'm still going back and forth if Goldy should return. I just hate to see him finish his career in another uniform. I guess I just hope he still has something left in tne tank.
Having Bernie on would be great. I regularly read his blog.i don't always agree with his takes, but they are usually thoughtful.
Bernie was gracious enough to reach out and say he was up for it, so I imagine we'll get that done this January or February.
On Goldy, I'm with you. In a vacuum, I'd want him back. He's a good guy, he still has something left even if it's not the level we are used to, and we can't underestimate that first base defense. However, resources that go to him aren't going to pitching or other issues and that could be a problem.

That's a good thought! I'll see if there's a spot for him and he's interested when the time comes. Thanks!
