19 years?! Wow. I always enjoy your articles, Daniel. And, for what it's worth, I think yours is the only source of baseball opinion/analysis that I'm still reading during my 2026 sabbatical from baseball. It feels like there's a lot of "you" which comes through in the pieces and I reckon it's that extra human element which keeps me coming back.
Daniel, thank you for your posts and podcasts. I enjoy them. I agree with your takes on trading Noot and May, and maybe more. I think Bloom’s strategy will continue to be “let’s see what we have” and promote Baez, Matthews, and maybe more to St. Louis for the last 50 games or so. Our draft seems to have gone very well, although it will be years to know for sure. Like you, I’d rather see one less PCA than to get one of our own, but Condon does seem to be an exciting player with a high ceiling. This has been a very interesting season so far, and it looks as though it will get even more interesting going forward. Thank you again for your work on, and love for, the Cardinals. All the best to you and yours!
Thanks for the kind words! I guess the only holdup on the trades of Noot and May really is what Bloom can get in return. It's possible he holds those guys if the market isn't strong but I think it might take less than we'd think. (The market usually does work that way as well!)

Very kind of you to say! I'll try not to disappoint!
